At INDACCU SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED (“we,” “us,” “our”), we aim to build a reliable and transparent marketplace through our platform, where trusted sellers can offer their products to a wide customer base. To ensure a smooth and secure experience for both sellers and buyers, we have developed this Seller Registration Policy.
By registering as a seller on our platform, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
Eligibility Criteria for Sellers
To become a seller on our marketplace, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Legal Entity: You must be a legally registered entity in India. This includes individuals, sole proprietors, partnerships, private limited companies, or limited liability partnerships (LLPs).
- Valid GST Registration: You must possess a valid GST (Goods and Services Tax) registration for your business and comply with all GST regulations.
- Bank Account: A valid Indian bank account in your business name is required to receive payments for sales made on the marketplace.
- Product Listings: Your products must comply with Indian laws and regulations, and they must not fall under restricted categories as per Indian law or our guidelines.
Seller Registration Process
The registration process for sellers on our platform includes the following steps:
Step 1: Account Creation
Create an account by providing basic information such as your name, business name, email address, and phone number. A verification email or SMS will be sent to confirm your contact details.
Step 2: Business Information Submission
After verifying your contact details, submit detailed business information, including:
- Business Name
- GST Registration Number
- PAN Card Details
- Business Type (Sole Proprietor, Partnership, Private Limited, LLP, etc.)
- Bank Account Details (including account number, branch, and IFSC code)
Step 3: Document Submission
Upload the following documents for verification:
- Identity Proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, or Driver’s License)
- Address Proof (Recent utility bills or business address document, such as Rent Agreement or Electricity Bill)
- GST Registration Certificate
- Bank Account Proof (Cancelled cheque or bank statement)
- PAN Card (for business owner or company/LLP)
Step 4: Review and Approval
Our team will review your application and documents. If everything is in order, you will be approved as a seller. If there are issues, we will notify you to provide corrections or additional information.
Seller Responsibilities
3.1 Product Listings
- Compliance: Ensure that all products comply with Indian laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, Trade Marks Act, Copyrights Act, and others.
- Accurate Information: Provide accurate and detailed product descriptions, including images, specifications, pricing, availability, and any other relevant details.
3.2 Pricing
- GST Compliance: Charge the appropriate GST on products and include taxes in the listed price.
- No Price Manipulation: Ensure that all product prices reflect the actual cost, including applicable charges, and avoid manipulating prices.
3.3 Inventory Management
- Stock Availability: Ensure your products are available and ready for shipment once an order is placed.
- Order Fulfillment: Fulfill orders within the specified time frame (typically within 48 hours of receiving an order, subject to stock availability).
3.4 Customer Service
- Customer Interaction: Respond promptly to customer inquiries or complaints and maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
- Returns and Refunds: Follow our Returns and Refunds Policy and process returns and refunds promptly.
3.5 Packaging and Shipping
- Proper Packaging: Ensure products are securely packaged to prevent damage during shipping.
- Shipping: Ship products within the designated time frame and provide tracking information once the order has been dispatched.
Seller Fees and Payments
4.1 Commission and Fees
- Marketplace Commission: A commission fee is charged on each sale. The commission percentage will be detailed in the seller agreement and may vary by product category.
- Payment Processing Fees: Payment gateway providers may charge processing fees, which will be deducted from the seller’s earnings.
4.2 Payment Transfer
- Settlement Period: Payments will be transferred to your bank account within the agreed-upon time frame after the order is fulfilled.
- Refunds: In the event of returns or refunds, the seller’s account will be debited the refund amount, and it is the seller’s responsibility to manage returns according to marketplace policies.
Seller Code of Conduct
Sellers must adhere to the following ethical standards:
- No Misleading Practices: Do not engage in deceptive practices such as inflating prices or providing false descriptions.
- Respect Intellectual Property: Do not sell counterfeit, pirated, or infringing products.
- Ethical Business Practices: Operate ethically by ensuring timely order fulfillment, maintaining accurate inventory, and providing quality products.
Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts for violations of this policy or unethical business practices, including:
- Violation of product listing guidelines
- Consistent failure to fulfill orders
- Fraudulent or illegal activities
- Negative customer feedback
In case of suspension or termination, the seller will be notified via email, and the remaining balance will be processed according to applicable refund or payment policies.
Amendments to the Seller Registration Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered sellers, and the updated policy will be available on the website.
